How to restrict access to WordPress Dashboard
On some websites you may want that only users with specific roles can access to the WordPress Admin Dashboard.
StranoWeb Ajax Login has a section dedicated to this, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to
SW Ajax Loginsetting page and click on the tab Redirects & Permalink;
- Scroll down to WordPress admin dashboard access section and click on Restrict WordPress admin dashboard to users with certain roles checkbox to show the settings;
- Choose the roles that you allow to access to the WordPress backend;
- You can also hide the frontend admin bar to the users with roles not allowed to access WordPress backend;
